Villa Praia Da Luz, Western Algarve
Casa Encantadora is located in a prestigious area of Praia da Luz, approximately 15 minutes walk from the beach and 5 to 10 minutes walk from many of the restaurants, bars, cafes and shops that the town offers.The villa is set within a walled garden, accessed by security gates and with ample space for two cars to be parked securely within the grounds.The property is level with landscaped garden areas and a large private pool,terraced area and outside shower.Plenty of outside furniture is provided for your enjoyment as is the built in charcoal barbecue area located to one side of the house for outside dining on warm summer evenings.Every bedroom has it’s own bathroom/shower room and the 2 upstairs bedrooms have balconies with sea views.

The living/dining area, kitchen and one of the twin bedrooms (with en-suite shower room) are all on the ground floor. There is also a separate cloakroom on the ground floor.
The large living area has a dining table to seat six and is comfortably furnished with three 2 seater sofas arranged around a coffee table, it has two sets of patio doors leading onto the pool and terrace. There is a free Wi-Fi internet access, a television (English channels via internet), a dvd player, a stereo unit and a separate Playstation with television.
Lagos is an historic town with some city walls and there are several museums and churches worth a visit. This is a working Portuguese town with markets, shops and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The fabulous west coast beaches, where the surfing is renowned, are only 30 minutes drive away and the Monchique hills and the historic old capital of the Algarve, Silves, is an equal distance the other way. A car is not essential for your holiday enjoyment but to gain an appreciation of just what the Western Algarve can offer, a car is recommended.
The large fully fitted kitchen comes with an electric over, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing/drying machine, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle etc. There is also an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom 1 – (Master Bedroom) – The beds can be made up as a double or two singles. There is a large built in wardrobe with masses of storage space and 2 bedside cabinets. It has an en-suite full bathroom with integral shower over the bath, bidet, toilet and vanity unit. There are two sets of patio doors which lead out on to two balconies, both of which have a sea view and the larger balcony has a table and two chairs. This bedroom has an air conditioning unit.
Bedroom 2 – Twin Beds, a built in wardrobe with plenty of storage space and 2 bedside cabinets. It has an en-suite shower room with a walk in shower, toilet and vanity unit. This bedroom has patio doors leading to a small terrace which has a sea view. There is also an air conditioning unit.
Bedroom 3 – (Downstairs on ground floor) – Twin Beds, a built in wardrobe with plenty of storage space and 2 bedside cabinets. It has a large en-suite shower room with a walk in shower, bidet, toilet and vanity unit. There is an air conditioning unit in this bedroom.
The villa has landscaped garden areas and a rectangular private pool (approx. 7 x 3m) with a pool cover to retain the temperature, there is also an outside shower. Sun loungers and dining furniture are provided and there is a built in charcoal barbecue to the side of the house, also a rotary clothes line for your convenience.
The property is wheelchair accessible through the two patio doors and the garden can be accessed safely. The twin bedroom and en-suite on the ground floor is suitable for individuals with reduced mobility.
A representative from the villa management team (office is 5 mins walk from villa) will meet guests on their arrival, they will give any information about the villa including the location of the safe etc.
Towels and linen are provided and maid service twice per week is included in the rental price. There is also a linen change at the end of the first week for fortnightly stays. The pool is cleaned weekly and twice weekly in high season. A gardener regularly tends the garden.
The villa sleeps up to 6 people, a cot can be hired from the villa management if required for babies.
No pets are allowed at the property. Smoking is permitted outside of the villa. No diving in the pool at any time.
Arrival times – 2pm (Monday – Friday) and by 2pm on Saturdays – there will be a small charge for any late arrivals after office hours.
Departure time by 10am.
No arrivals/departures on Sundays.
The Area: Praia Da Luz, Western Algarve
Casa Encantadora makes an ideal location for a holiday at any time. Praia da Luz is also an excellent base from which to discover the rest of the beautiful Western Algarve, the choice of activities and places to visit and explore from this area is exceptional.
Faro is the nearest airport and the journey from the airport will take approximately 1 hour.
Praia da Luz has many good restaurants and bars, modern shops and supermarkets which stock a wide variety of imported food. There is also a very efficient Medical Centre where the doctors speak several languages and a well stocked pharmacy. The safe sandy beach stretches around the bay.
The cosmopolitan town of Lagos, which many believe to be the best on the Algarve, is only 10 minutes drive away. The Marina dominates the river as it opens into the sea and you can choose activities such as deep sea fishing, a dolphin seafari trip and yacht hire. There are several golf courses in the vicinity, Boavista in Lagos and Parque da Floresta in Budens being the nearest.
