Villa Armacao De Pera - Algarve, Central Algarve
Casa Figueiral nestles in the centre of a Fig Orchard (hence the name)and stands in it's own grounds of 3 acres. The villa has panoramic views of the sea and countryside, around to the Monchique mountains in the North. The driveway leads to a large car port and provides ample parking for 4 cars.
The villa is a 35 minute drive west of Faro Airport via the A22 motorway. A coastal road (EN125) extends the whole width of the Algarve and is a non toll road. The town of Armacao de Pera is 2km from the villa and is famous for the 2m long sandy beach.

Front door leading to hallway and separate cloakroom. Second hallway leading into a large lounge/diner with modern furnishings, equipped with TV, DVD, CD player, Ipod player, WIFI and large selection of holiday reading books. Large sliding doors lead to a circular exterior terrace and steps down to the pool area.
Fully fitted modern kitchen, with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and the normal array of electrical cooking appliances.
A separate area houses the washing machine.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
On the first floor can be found the Master Bedroom with en suite full bathroom, dressing room, large sliding doors leading to a very large balcony and equipped with sun loungers, garden table and chairs.
On the ground floor there is a large double bedroom, with patio doors, fully fitted wardrobe, dresser and en suite shower room. Ceiling fan, electric radiator for winter use.
A further twin bedroom with full bathroom is also located on the ground floor, and sliding doors leading on to the circular terrace and steps to the pool area.
A second twin room with shower room en suite is also on the ground floor. Equipped with fully fitted wardrobe, dresser, electric fan and radiator for winter use.
Please note the full bathrooms are equipped with bath, shower over, wash basin, WC and bidet.
Shower rooms have WC and washbasins.
Towels and linen provided. Beach towels also provided. Bed linen changed on a weekly basis.
The circular terrace is equipped with garden table and chairs and the views from this terrace are quite impressive, as are the views from the balcony above.
The pool area also commands equally good views, and the extensive terrace area is equipped with ample sun loungers, al fresco dining for 8/10 persons beneath the pergola,bbq, bread oven, parasols, and a pool house equipped with fridge/freezer, drinks cupboards and pool toys and equipment to keep the younger members entertained.
44km (35 miles) from Faro Airport. 2.5hrs drive from Lisbon Airport and the same if flying to/from Seville in Spain. Easyjet, Monarch, British Airways, Ryanair are just a few of the airlines flying to Faro from British airports.

Maid Service - 5 days per week.
Pool Cleaning - twice per week during summer months, and once per week at all other times. The pool man (Ricardo) will visit on a Monday and Thursday morning to clean the pool.
Gardeners visit on a Saturday to clean and tidy terraces and water the garden. Their visit normally would last about 2 hrs.
We operate a non- smoking rule within the villa.
The Area: Armacao De Pera - Algarve, Central Algarve
Our nearest town is Armacao de Pera, once a small fishing village, but is now a thriving holiday resort. The town is renown for it's 2 mile long sandy beach, stretching to Salgados. The beach offers a host of beach bars, and water sports such as wind surfing, jet skiing, paragliding, water skiing, pedaloes, banana boats and much more. The local fishermen supplement their earnings by offering visits to the coves and grotto's or further out to sea to watch the Dolphins.
The palm tree lined promenade provides many restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, supermarkets, and banks. There is a fresh fish and vegetable market 6 days a week, and on Wednesday and Saturdays the stalls are swelled by visiting locals from the Monchique area who sell home grown produce. Don't ask for chicken - you will be offered a live one!
The villa is also within a short distance of a quaint village called Porches. The village has a large church a few shops, but is famous for the two restaurants 'Oleao' and Porches Velho. The latter is a converted 'adega' or wine store. Oleao is the most famous and provides wonderful food and wines, and is more suited for that 'special occasion'.
The area is very central for the many golf courses in the Algarve, but we do have three within a short distance of the villa - Salgados only 10 minute drive away, Silves Golf only 6/7 minutes and the newest one 'Amendoreia' only 3/4 minutes away. The other popular attractions include: Zoomarine based at Guia - a wonderful day out for all the family. Here you can swim with the dolphins, but at a cost! Water parks, such as Aqualand is only 3 minutes drive away and is ideal for the family with children over 8 years. Slide & Splash at Lagoa is more suited to the families with very young children. All the water parks have good facilities, and all mentioned are recommended for at least one visit per holiday (if you can get away with only one!)

Prices quoted during April to end of October include pool heating, maid service and all linen.
Winter prices do not include the pool heating i.e January to March November, and December.
To make a reservation, we request a deposit of £150 per week and the balance to be forwarded 6 weeks prior to your holiday start date.
Changeovers: we operate a Saturday to Saturday week from April to October.
We can be more flexible on start date during the winter months (November, December January to March) to accommodate flight availability.
The villa will be available from 1pm on date of arrival and we would request you vacate the villa at 10.30am on date of departure to allow for the service to commence.
