Bedroom 1 has a large balcony with French style table & chairs with beautiful views over the gardens, pool and countryside.

At the back of the house there is a large shared swimming pool with enough private sunloungers for 6, with lovely surrounding gardens and beautiful views across the countryside. The house has a large rear garden which is raised and overlooks the pool. There is also a terrace, complete with outside furniture for al fresco dining.
At the front of the house there is a large brick BBQ complete with sink and preparation area, and also a large covered gated parking area, there is also lots of parking available in a designated safe parking area across the road.
Please note we include Towels & Linen, however we do not provide Pool/Beach Towels.

The Area: Calicos Albufeira, Central Algarve
With many of the country's safest and loveliest beaches, and a year-round balmy climate, it is not surprising that the Algarve is Portugal's most popular region for holidaymakers. Inevitably, this also means stretches of the coast – in particular from Faro west to Albufeira are heavily developed, though even here the beaches are first-rate, as are the facilities. Elsewhere in the Algarve, especially around Sagres and Tavira, the surroundings are more attractive, with laidback resorts and low-key development.
To the west of Vilamoura, you’ll find the rocky outcrops and cove beaches for which the Algarve is best known, especially around the main resorts of Albufeira, Armação de Pêra and Lagos. The coast becomes progressively wilder as you head west, where attractive smaller resorts include the former fishing villages of Salema or Burgau, and the historic cape of Sagres – thought to be the site of Henry the Navigator’s naval school. The string of villages along the rougher west coast, as far as Odeceixe, are quieter still, with limited facilities but fantastic wild beaches ideal for surfing.
The eastern coast between Faro and the Spanish border is very different. Most of it is protected within the Reserva Natural da Ria Formosa, a series of barrier islands fronted by extensive sandy beaches. That means taking a short boat trip to reach the sands, which has helped preserve the towns from large-scale development. The resorts here have a more Portuguese feel than those in the central stretch, and first-choice bases here would be Faro itself – capital of the entire region – Olhão, Fuseta, Cabanas or Tavira, all of which offer easy access to the sandbank islands.
Inland Algarve is still relatively undeveloped, especially around Alcoutim on the Spanish border. The Roman ruins of Milreu and the market town of Loulé are both worth an outing from Faro, while the old Moorish town of Silves is easily accessed from Portimão.

On day of arrival we would ask you to arrive after 3pm, departure we require you to depart at 10am, if there is no guests on the same day as your departure we are flexible on your departure time, just ask!

All our queries regarding our holiday were dealt with by the owner Nick Clegg in an efficient and friendly manner.
The property is an impressive 3 storey residence which includes everything that you would require including WI-FI access,....an essential holiday criteria for my two teenage boys!!
The residents pool, which we had more or else to ourselves during our stay, was extremely well maintained, clean and a great size.
The property is located approx 15 min walk to the old town and there is a well equipped supermarket on route. The new town is also a short taxi ride away. In both towns there are numerous restaurants altough we often decided to relax and eat at the house.
We will definitely be back.
My family recently stayed for two weeks, everything was perfect, the weather, the house, the house was very large, very clean and had everything we needed, there are also lots of toys for the children... It has a lawned large garden overlooking the beautiful pool, which we had to ourselves for the full two weeks!! It is a lovely walk to the Old Town and also has a great family owned restaurant less than 5 mins walk from the house. Will definitely stay at this wonderful place again.. Thank you Nick & Gaynor, you were a joy to deal with.
We have just returned from 7 nights in Albufeira, with two adults and 5 children. Had a fabulous time, the house was beautiful with nice pool area and private sun loungers . There was enough space for us all to spread out and have a great time. Nice walk into the old town (about 20/30 mins) and a great snack bar (Farm Village) at the bottom of the road for late breakfast/lunch and evening meals. All in all a perfect break, I would definitely book again .....thank you Nick and Gaynor 😁
Nice property with beautiful pool, nice loaction (quiet and not too far away from the city centre of Albufeira) and friendly owners. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Just back from a week in this beautiful house. The property has everything you need and is only 15 minutes or so walk into the old town. The shared pool is fantastic.
I stayed for 5 nights with my family in this home, and it was everything we hoped for. The property was clean, well maintained, and in a nice and quiet location. The pool and patio area were perfect for enjoying the great weather we had during our week in April. It is about a 20-25 minute walk to old town/and the beach, but in most cases we drove since we had our small children. The property has everything you need to stay comfortably, excellent wifi, and even had some pool and beach toys for the children. If we return to Albufeira for a vacation, which we hope to do, we will use this property again. The owners were great to work with, and made the checkin/out process extremely simple.
We stayed here for 17 days in February, the house is wonderful and is fully equipped, it was the ideal to house to stay in, very clean when we arrived. It helped that the weather in February averaged 20 deg c, so the private garden and pool area were great places to relax!! Shops & Restaurants were only 5 mins walk from the house, and a nice stroll into the Old Town was no more than 20 mins away. We have already booked with Nick & Gaynor for the same time next year. and would recommend this property, lovely place!
Everything about the property was perfect for us, indoor outdoor space was we'll catered for distance to local amenities was sufficient and only a short beautiful walk to the old town.... Will definitely use this property again and communication with the owner was quick and friendly... nothing was too much trouble..
